Post-Apocalyptic Mad Max Vehicle – Texturing & Shading Study

This project is my final assignment for the Texturing and Shading course, completed during the third year of the Animation degree at U-Tad University.
For this project, the instructor Javier Gamero Sánchez provided the base vehicle model, on which I carried out the UV unwrapping, full texturing in Substance Painter, and finally the rendering using Arnold in Maya.

As a personal contribution, I added several extra elements to the original model, including front spikes, a cooling system for the engine emerging from the hood, upper lights, and a rabbit tied with a chain, with the goal of enhancing the vehicle’s visual storytelling.

The project is inspired by the Mad Max film saga and aims to convey a post-apocalyptic scrap-punk aesthetic.
